본 실험은 LEY에 다양한 당류를 첨가한 용액으로 동결보존한 돼지정자의 응해후 생존율과 정상 첨체율, 체외성숙한 난자와의 수정능력과 배 발달 능력 및 인공수정을 통한 수태율과 산자수에 미치는 효과를 조사하기 위해 실시하였다. 융해후의 정상 첨체율은 glucose 농도 증가와 함께 증가되었으나, 생존율에 있어서는 효과가 인정되지 않았다. 본 연구는 1996년부터 1999년까지 다비 AI 센타에서 사육되는 종모돈 199두와 종빈돈 4,181두를 가지고 종모돈의 정액생산과 번식성적에 미치는 품종, 연령, 계절, 산차 및 교배방법의 영향을 구명하고자 실시한 바, 그 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같았다. 1. 정액량은 Landrace (L) 종이 266.8 $mell$로 제일 많았고, Yorkshire (Y) 종이 그 다음으로 많았으며, Duroc (D) 종이 제일 적었다. 정자 운동성은 품종간에 차이가 없었다. 정자농도는 Landrace 종이 4.7$ imes$109 sperm/$mell$로 제일 낮았고, 정액량이 제일적은 Duroc 종이 5.7$... -

항정자항체의 종류 및 존재부위가 정액성상 및 수정능력에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 항정자항체의 종류 및 존재부위는 immunobead binding test에 의하여 시행하였으며, 정자와 수정능력은 투명대제거 햄스터 난자 침입법에 의하여 시행하였다. 항정자항체는 정자수, 운동성 및 운동지수에 악영향을 끼쳤으며, 수정능력에도 악영향을 끼쳤다. 항정자항체의 존재부위에 따른 차이는 보이지 않았다. 항정자항체 IgG가 정자두부 혹은 정자미부에 존재할 경우 및 항정자항체 IgA가 정자미부에 존재할 경우 수정능력을 크게 감소시켰다. -
