1. 연구의 필요성 최근 평균 수명의 증가로 폐경 여성의 인구가 증가하고 있 다. 이로 인해 골다공증의 유병률 또한 증가되고 있어, 2008 년도에 시행된 국민건강영양조사에서는 50세 이상에서 골다 공증 유병률이 19.3%로 보고되었다. 특히 폐경기 전후의 여 성에서 골다공증의 유병률은 32.6%로 같은 나이의 남성에 비 해 약 6배나 높은 수치를 보인다. 골다공증의 위험 요인으로는 연령의 증가, 운동 부족, 흡 연, 낮은 칼슘 및 비타민 D 섭취 등이 있다. 특히, 폐경기 여 성에서 폐경으로 인한 에스트로겐 결핍은 골소실을 증가시키...
