핵연료 재처리 과정이나 원자력발전소에서 대량으로 발생되는 비교적 반감기가 긴 핵종들(Sr-90, Ru-106, Cb-137, Ce-144)의 화학응집제와 국산점토 광물(montmorillonite)에 의한 제거 효율을 결정하기 위해 본 실험이 수행되었다. Phosphate process는 Ce-144의 제거에 있어서 99.5% 이상의 극히 좋은 효율을 나타냈고, lime-soda process는 Sr-90에 대하여 93%의 높은 제거율을 보였으며, Cs-187에 대해서는 copper-ferrocyanide가 제거율 99%의 매우 적절한 화학 응집제임을 나타냈다. 수용액에서 Neutral red5 (BR 5)의 흡착을 조사하였다. $250^{circ}C$에서 2시간동안 소각한 제지 슬러지로부터 새로운 고형 흡착제를 제조하였다. 제조된 폐수로부터 RB5 염료를 제거하기 위해 배치 시스템으로 실험을 수행한 결과, 상온 pH 5조건에서 80분동안 최대 374.98 mg/g 의 흡착을 보였다. 높은 회귀계수(regression coefficient $R^2$)와 함께 The Freundlich isotherm이 실험값과 잘 부합하였다. -

of the McKenzie stretching and cupping treatment showed that the cupping treatment produced significantly greater pain thresholds and improvements in ROM of the cervical spine than the McKenzie stretching technique (p<0.05). Conclusions: Cupping treatment is more effective in improving ROM of the cervical spine and pain thresholds than the McKenzie stretching technique. In the future, cupping treatment will be one of the treatment options for pain and ROM impairments of the cervical spine. -
