left elbow area and presence of purulent materials was referred to hospital;history, clinical examination, laboratory test and radiological evaluation of the dog proved the presence of osteomyelitis. Eosinophilia was evident by haematologic test. Intensive antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medication, local wound management and restricted physical activity, improved osteomelitis condition and reduced eosinophil number. Therefore it seemed that osteomyelitis was the cause of eosinophilia in this dog. -

회전근개 전층 파열과 원위 경골 관절면 골절 불유합을 동시에 시행한 57세 남자가 수술 19일만에 MRSA(Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus)에 의한 상완골두 급성 골수염이 발생하였다. 골수염은 3차례의 수술과 정맥 항생제 요법으로 치료되었으나 상완골두와 회전근개 결손은 남아있었다. MRSA에 의한 상완골두 골수염은 보고된 바가 없기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. -

Focal vertebral bone density changes were assessed in vertebral computed tomography (CT) images obtained from clinically healthy dogs without diseases that affect bone density.
