본 연구는 젖소에서 분만 후 비유초기 체세포 증가가 번식효율에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사하였다. 774두의 젖소 자료를 분만 후 3개월 평균 체세포지수에 따라 T1(3.0 미만, n = 521), T2(3.0 이상 4.0 미만, n = 113) 및 T3(4.0 이상, n = 140) 군으로 구분하였다. 자궁내막염의 발생위험율(odds ratio)은 T1군에 비해 T2군 및 T3군이 각각 1.6배(p < 0.05) 및 3.2배(p < 0.0001) 증가하였다. 분만 후 150일까지 첫 수정율은 T1군에 비해 T3군이 낮았으나(hazard ratio [HR] = 0.76, p < 0.01), 분만 후 첫수정 수태율은 각... -

체세포 수(SCC = somatic cell count)는 유방염과 밀접한 관계가 있는 생리적 반응의 표시이다. 그래서 유질과 유방염의 관리에 대단히 중요한 영향인자로 중요하게 사용된다. 현재 그 수에 의한 세계적인 평가는 나날이 연구의 성과가 보고되고 있다. 우리는 체세포 수로 많은 애로를 가지고 있으면서도 감소대책과 수에 대한 국제적 흐름에 민감하지 못한 것이 현실로 보인다. 이상과 같은 것을 감안하여 근래의 체세포 수와 유방염에 관한 정보를 제공하려고 한다.

본 연구는 유질향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 1986년 5월부터 1987년 4월 까지 경기도 일부지역의 234개 목장을 대상으로 목장별 집합원유에 대해 유지방검사, 세균수시험 (MBRT), 체세포수시험을 실시하여 유질을 평가하였고, 목장의 낙농위생관리실태를 조사하여 유질과의 관련성을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 유지방율검사, 평균 유지방율은 3.56%였고, 월별로는 1월 3.67%, 4월 3.64%, 7월 3.43%, 10월 3.48%였으며, 월별 유지방율의 차이는 총계학적으로 유의성이 인정되었다(p<0.005). 2. 세균수시험...
