연구 목적 본 연구의 목적은 제주도와 오키나와의 신화에 투영된 두 섬의 전통민가에서 부엌의 공간과 화신(火神)의 의미를 연계해서 분석하는 것이다. 연구 내용 본 연구에서는 두 섬사람들은 그들의 신화의 내용에 근거해서 지었던 주거공간과 화신의 의미를 섬의 자연환경에 적합한 형태로 해석했다. 이러한 사유방식은 궁극적으로 이들에게 자연과 인간이 소통할 수 있는 결정적인 계기를 제공했다. 두 섬의 신화는 섬에서 생활하는 섬사람들의 실생활의 정서와 믿음을 반영하고 있다. 이같은 문화적 요소의 특징이 ‘원망의... -
