본 연구는 일반 대학의 5년간 자료를 대상으로 비모수 효율성 분석 모형인 DEA 모형을 이용하여 효율성을 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 대학의 전체적인 효율성 수준을 살펴보면 대학의 약 7~11% 정도는 효율적으로 운영되고 있는 반면, 73~89% 정도는 비효율적으로 운영되고 있다. 따라서 상당수의 대학들은 투입과 산출 구조에 대한 조정이나 최적생산규모의 확보를 위한 자구적인 노력이 요구된다. 둘째, 연도별 대학의 효율성 분석 결과, 전반적으로 대학의 효율성은 낮은 편이었다. 그러나 연도별로 효율성...
