A simulation program is developed to analyse the driving performance of an electric vehicle. It is composed of the structured modules modelled after the functional components of the electric vehicle. This program can be used conveniently in the conceptual design stage of a new electric vehicle. The comparision of the test data of ETX-1 developed by Ford with the calculated results shows reasonable agreement within 15% error.
