한국산 모기의 월동조사 결과, 경기도 김포군 해안가 늪지대에서 7개의 토양시료중 42.9%인 3개의 시료에서 월동난 양성부화율을 나타내었고, 등줄숲모기(Aedes dorsalis) 58개체가 우화하였다. 전라남도 해안가 나무구멍에서는 3개의 시료중 100%인 3개의 시료에서 월동난 양성부화율을 나타냈으며, 흰줄숲모기 (Ae. albopictus), 흰어깨숲모기(Ae. nipponicus), 긴얼룩다리모기(Tripteroides bambusa)가 확인되었고, 돌구멍에서는 토고숲모기(Ae, togoi)가 유충의 형태로 월동하는것이 확인되었다. 특히 늪지대에서 등줄숲모기의 월동난을 확인된 것이 특기할 만하다.
The positive rate of overwintering egg samples of Aedes dorsalis from swamp soil were 42.9% at Gimpo-gun, Kyonggi-do. The confirmation of the overwintering egg stage of Ae. dorsalis in the swamp was a remarkable note. The overwintering state of Ae. albopictus, Ae. nipponicus, Tripteroides bambusa was found in egg stage in the tree-hole, and Ae. togoi was reconfirmed in larval stage in the rock-pool.
