The patient in this case, 38 years-old female was adimitted for 8 days(2001. 7. 16 ${sim}$ 2001. 7. 23). Her chief complain was lumbago, shoulder pain, headache, palpitation, general body weakness, insomnia, whole body heating and dyspnea. we diagnosed this patient as hyperthyroidism with originated from yinhuhwawang(陰虛火旺) and bigihu(脾氣虛). we treated this hyperthroidism patient with herbal medicine(Chonglijagamtang-gamibang(淸離滋坎湯加味方), bojungikgitang-gamibang(補中益氣湯加味方)), Acupunture, Moxa, etc. after oriental treatment during 8 days, pain(shoulder pain, headache, lumbago, whole body pain) was decreased and the symptoms were all diminished. in the days to come, we need to study further study about the superiority of Oriental Medicine healing a hyperthyroidism patient.
