인터넷 사용이 보편화됨에 따라 일상생활에서 편리해진 점은 많이 있으나 여러 가지 사회문제를 야기하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대학생의 과다한 인터넷 사용이 인터넷의존성과 대인관계에 영향을 미치고, 결국에는 자기통제능력을 상실하고 일상생활에 지장을 주는 인터넷중독에 이르게 되는 관계를 밝힌다. 인터넷 사용빈도가 높을수록 인터넷의존성, 대인관계 및 인터넷중독 정도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 인터넷의존성이 클수록 대인관계에 문제가 있고, 인터넷중독 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고 대인관계에 문제가 있을수록 인터넷중독 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
Even though wide usage of internet makes daily life easier, it drives many social problems. This article reveals that heavy usage of internet affects status of mind and relationships with others, and ends up to the internet addiction. We found the more college students use internet, the more they become internet dependent, problematic in relationships with others and internet addictive. And more, internet dependency provokes internet addiction and problems in relationship with others and problems with others induces internet addiction, too.
