본 연구는 ‘소나무 살리기’를 주제로 융합인재교육(STEAM)교육 프로그램을 개발하여 적용함으로 써 초등학생의 과학 탐구 능력,정의적 영역,과학적 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위함이다.이 를 위하여 ‘소나무 살리기’를 주제로 총 12차시의 문제 중심형 STEAM 교육 프로그램을 개발하였 으며,학기말 담임재량시간을 활용하여 실제로 적용할 수 있도록 구안하였다.J도 소재 M초등학교 6학년 학생을 대상으로 STEAM 교육 프로그램을 투입하여 사전-사후 검사한 결과,과학적 태도 및 친환경적 태도 변화에는 효과가 있었다.그리고 수업 후 학생들의 반응을 분석한 결과 학생들 은 지식의 습득보다는 지식을 통해 실생활에 적용하여 발전시키고자 하였다.이러한 결과를 바탕 으로 STEAM 교육을 적용한 소나무 살리기 수업은 학생들에게 융합적 안목을 기르는데 기여할 수 있다고 사료된다.
The aim of this study is to develop and apply the STEAM program with a theme of 'Save the Pine Tree' in order to examine the effect of it on affective domain and scientific attitudes of elementary students. For achieving this objective, 12-session problem-based STEAM program regarding 'Save the Pine Tree' was developed and designed to be actually applied using teacher's discretionary class at the end of the term. The developed STEAM program was applied to sixth grade students of M elementary school located in J Province. As a results, it had effect on the changes of their scientific attitudes and environment-friendly attitudes. In conclusion, it is considered that the 'Save the Pine Tree' class through STEAM could contribute to the development of students' integrated discernments, based on these findings.
