Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate how the School Life Satisfaction impact on the
academic achievements of students who major in occupational therapy.
Methods : The subjects in this study were dept. of occupational therapy 32 students of a college in
Gyeongsangbuk-do. The Student Adjustment TestⅠ was performed, converted to T scores
using the first semester grades, except for the liberal arts, in order to ensure academic
achievement.
Results : The results of the study were as follows. The results of The Student Adjustment TestⅠ
were classified as 10(31.3%) in low-risk group, 11(34.4%) in intermediate-risk group, and
12(34.4%) in high-risk group. In Groups according to the confident career majors, there was
a significant difference in the academic achievements. And, in the other parts, there was no
obvious statistical difference.
Conclusion : The analysis of "how school satisfaction impacts on academic achievements" shows that the
confidence in the majors for career affects positively on students academic achievements.
