This study is about the recent movement & implications of the
elementary school after- school child care service policy in Korea &
Japan. And then this study searches for the implications related to the
elementary school after-school child care service policy of Korea.
Specifically, researcher reviews outlines & details of the elementary
after-school child care service policy in Korea & Japan. On the basis of
them, researcher is willing to elicit implications related to the
elementary after-school child care service policy of Korea.
And the elementary after-school child care service policies of the Korea
& Japan are analysed comparatively in eleven aspects, that is, ①
Designation, ② Promotion background, ③ Laws and institutions, ④
Purpose, ⑤ Accountability and effectiveness, ⑥ Operating entity, ⑦
Training places, ⑧ Instructor, ⑨ Instructor qualification criteria, ⑩
Funds, ⑪ Program Content. On the basis of those analyses, eleven
implications related to the elementary after-school child care service
policy of Korea are derived.
Lastly, the valuable meanings & concrete strategies of eleven
implications for the elementary after-school child care service policy of
Korea are presented as conclusions.
