Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of errorless learning on memory with
mild dementia.
Methods : A single subject experimental research with ABA design was employed in this study. The experiment
composed of 12 session in total and each session measured recall scores: 3 sessions
for baseline and 6 sessions for treatment, 3 sessions for the second baseline. For one persons
with mild dementia, errorless learning executed for 6 weeks, two times per week, and 40 minutes
each time. The main goal of the 6 training sessions was to re-learn face-name association
within errorless learning paradigm.l
Results : The results of this study showed improvements during the treatment phase. The recall scores
improved from a mean of 8% at initial baseline to 78.6% during intervention.
Conclusion : These results was demonstrated the efficacy of an errorless learning paradigm in old adult
with dementia.
