The purpose of this study is to investigate the future direction and tasks of corporate
guardianship by analyzing the problems occurring from the present status and activities of
corporation guardians under the current adult guardianship system in Korea. In order to achieve
the purpose of this study, I conducted interviews the expert group of 7 specialists who are
engaged in corporate guardianship. I have analyzed the experiences of preparation and
operation of corporate guardianship through the grounded theory.
As a result of the study, corporate guardianship was mainly elected by family court. The
quality of the guardianship systemization phenomenon was the contextual condition of
corporation guardianship criteria, guardianship service experience, and corporate guardianship.
Interventional conditions included scarcity of resources, secure of professionalism, and matter
of cost of reparation. Interaction strategies included individual efforts, based on
professionalism, role of courts and local governments, and change of recognition. In conclusion,
it is required to establish paradigm from the corporation guardianship point of view based
on the effect and professionalism of corporation guardianship, and suggest the Practice task
of Operation of Corporation Guardianship the based on the results of this analysis.
