The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between servant leadership, basic psychological needs,
work spirituality, and job satisfaction, and to examine whether basic psychological needs and work spirituality are
dual mediated between servant leadership and job satisfaction. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 210
elementary, middle and high school teachers in Seoul, Gyeonggi - do, Incheon, and Chungcheong - do, and 206
out of them were analyzed. Servant leadership, satisfaction with basic psychological needs, work spirituality, and
job satisfaction scale were used as the measurement tools. The results were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. The
results of this study are as follows. First, correlation analysis showed statistically significant statistical correlation
between servant leadership, basic psychological needs, work spirituality, and job satisfaction. Second, the
relationship between servant leadership and job satisfaction was examined through basic psychological needs and
work spirituality. This result implies that the principal should demonstrate the servant leadership in order to
improve the job satisfaction of the teachers, and the servant leadership affects the basic psychological needs of
the teacher and the work spirituality and ultimately affects the teachers job satisfaction positively. This study is
meaningful because it provides the basic information that can be applied directly in the school setting by
identifying the relationship with the variables affecting the job satisfaction of the teachers.
