This study was to investigate whether traditional play is effective in promoting cooper-ative play skill in children with special education needs.
The subject of this study was a resource room(8 children was setting in) in G Gun, Kyungsangnamdo. The traditional Play Program included 10 tradition plays and experi-ments were done 10 session(10 weeks). ABAB design was used for this study.
The results of this study were as follows;
First, Traditional play program had positive effects on prompting first proposal for cooperative play per children.
Second, Traditional play program had an effects on increasing cooperative play time. Third, Traditional play program had an effects on increasing children to take part in cooperative play.
