The purpose of this study is to survey child teacher' s practice about
assessment of musical attitude, musical behavior, musical concept for
providing a foundation of consisting music education content and
developing a music assessment tools. The subjects of this study were
208 child teachers. The tool for this study is a questionnaire that is
composing of music education assessment items.
The results are as follows:
First, most of the child teachers assess musical attitude and musical
behavior, but they hardly assess musical concept.
Second, there is no difference of teacher's scholastic ability and
teacher's career, but there is difference of the type of child care center.
