A lot of multicultural education are done recently. I think it is necessary to discuss the multicultural education. A viewpoint of the culture and cultural understanding that passes the art are important. However, it is very difficult to distinguish another culture and one's culture clearly. Moreover, it is also very difficult to distinguish expecting generally the traditional culture will be plurally seen clearly. Therefore, it is necessary to still research seeing the culture on a plural side. Especially, it is necessary to discuss it concerning a social cultural viewpoint that sees the traditional culture of Korea in cultural pluralism. The present study is a part of the methodological research of the art appreciation education. The possibility of the appreciation education to put the base on cultural diversity at the present period was examined here. Especially, the questionnaire survey and the class progressed and were analyzed centering on the viewpoint to acculturation in Korean art. The conclusion is as follows. Cultural pluralism improves communications skills through an affirmative concern for the opened attitude to the art and the culture, especially other cultures. It is necessary to deepen recognition to the culture like cultural contact and the transformation, etc. in the class to which cultural pluralism is done by the subject. It is possible to grope for the identity of one's culture through this. Through Art appreciation education, cultural pluralism expands the outlook on the world for approach to the culture.
