본 연구는 유아의 인지 과정 특성에 따라 자유 선택 활동의 놀이 계획, 수행, 평가의 일치 정도가 각 놀이 영역별로 어떻게 나타나며, 어떠한 관련이 있는지 알아보는 데에 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 결과 첫째, 만 5세 유아의 인지 과정 특성의 발현 정도는 106.50(SD=12.49)으로 보통인 것으로 나타났다. 인지 과정의 특성의 발현 정도는 순차처리가 가장 높았고, 계획기능, 동시처리, 주의집중의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 자유 선택 활동의 놀이 계획, 수행, 평가의 일치 정도는 52.57%로, 중간 정도의 일치율을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 인지 과정 특성의 발현 정도에 따른 자유 선택 활동의 놀이 계획, 수행, 평가의 일치 정도는 인지 과정 특성의 발현 정도가 높은 집단의 유아가 보통 집단의 유아보다 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유아의 전체적인 인지 과정 특성의 발현 정도에 따른 집단 간 놀이 계획, 수행, 평가의 일치 정도는 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 자유 선택 활동의 놀이 영역별로 살펴보면, 언어 영역에서 높은 집단과 보통 집단 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate how the consistency of play plan, practice and evaluation is manifested in the hours of indoor free choice activities as per interest area depending on characteristics of children s cognitive process. The results of this study were that the characteristics of children s cognitive process were shown to be of an average with 106.50(SD=12.49), sequential processing was the highest followed by planning, simultaneous processing and attention. Second, the extent of consistency for children s play plan, practice, and evaluation of free choice activities showed a middle level of consistency rate of 52.57. Third, the extent of consistency for children s play plan, practice, and evaluation dependent on characteristics of children s cognitive process indicated that children of the group with a higher extent of manifestation had a higher extent of consistency than those with the average group(high: 60.54%, average: 47.80%). Fourth, The extent of consistency of play plan, practice, and evaluation depending on the characteristics of children s cognitive process didn t show a significant difference between groups, with a significant difference occurring between the high group and the average group in language area when considered as per play area.
