핵가족이 주류를 이루고 있는 현대사회에서 부부의 문제는 결국 가족전체의 문제가 되며, 자녀뿐 만아니라 직장생활 및 대인관계에도 영향을 미친다. 가정폭 력피해자보호시설에 거주하는 여성을 대상으로 한 조사에 의하면 48.5%의 여성 이 한 달에 1회 이상의 신체적 폭력에 시달렸으며(김선아 외, 2003), 남편으로부 터의 첫 폭력 발생시기는 결혼한지 1년 사이가 68.4%로 나타났고(김재엽, 2007), 가정폭력발생률은 50.4%로 나타났다(여성가족부, 2008). 가정폭력피해여성들은 폭력으로 인해 두려움, 죄의식, 절망감, 수치심, 자신감 상실 등으로 인해 무기력 해지며, 이러한 무기력감은 우울로 연결된다(알렌 켐프, 2001). 또한 이들의 성격 은 분노, 망상, 두려움, 비관 등의 성향이 높게 나타나며, 심한 경우 정신분열증 또는 경계성 인격장애로 진단되기도 한다(김희진, 2004; 이주은, 2004). 심각한 학대를 받은 여성 중 약 53%에서 우울증이 발견되며(Ammerman & Hersen, 1999), 학대받은 여성과 학대를 받지 않은 여성의 MMPI를 비교한 결과, 학대받 은 여성이 우울증, 히스테리, 정신병리적 이상 항목에서 점수가 높았다(Ammerm an & Hersen, 1999). 우울한 사람의 50%이상이 부부문제가 있다는 보고는 부부 갈등 혹은 부부문제가 우울증과 상관이 높다는 사실을 증명한다(여진아, 2009). 가정폭력피해여성은 반복적인 폭력으로 인해 일반여성들 보다 자존감이 낮다는 연구결과는 이미 잘 알려진 사실이다(박애경, 2007). 가정폭력피해여성의 낮은 자존감과 우울은 일상적인 생활에서의 적응에서도 문제를 야기하기 때문에 이들...
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of Satir group program which was applied to battered women. They have the serious mental problems, such as poor self-esteem and depression, by the psychological and physical violences of husband. The framework of this program was constructed the interaction therapy, therapy of family origin, human\'s inter therapy, and discovery of self. 9 participants were conducted at 8 sessions for 2 hours per week from 1st February 2009. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test was used to compared the pre and post effects of the program in same group. The pre and pro comparative analysis showed the slight enhancement in participants who were congruent in communication type, the statistically significant increasing changes about the self-esteem and a statistically significant decreasing changes about depression. This article suggests that it is necessary for development of measurable communication scale at Satir model.
