본 연구는 ADHD를 가진 자녀를 둔 어머니가 인식한 아버지의 양육참여도가 가정환경 변인에 따 라 차이가 있는지를 분석함과 동시에 아버지 양육참여도와 ADHD를 가진 자녀의 사회적 유능성과 의 관계를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 초등학교 3-6학년에 재학 중이면서 ADHD로 진단받은 남아들의 어머니 85명을 대상으로 아버지의 양육참여도와 자녀의 사회적 유능성을 평가 하도록 하였다. 자료 분석 결과 ADHD아동의 어머니들은 아버지의 교육수준이 낮을수록, 자녀수가 많을수록 아버지의 양육참여 정도가 높은 것으로 인식하였다. 그러나 가정의 경제수준과 어머니의 직업유무에 따른 아버지의 양육참여도는 집단 간 차이가 없었다. 어머니가 인식한 아버지의 양육 참여 정도와 아버지의 양육에 대한 책임은 ADHD를 가진 자녀의 사회적 유능성 총점과 정적 상관 을 보였다. 특히 아버지의 양육에 대한 책임과 관련된 양육참여도는 사회적 유능성 하위요인 6개 가운데 5개의 요인(공감, 외향성, 자기관리, 정서조절, 사회적 지식 이해)과 정적인 상관을 보였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mothers' perception of fathers' child-rearing involvement and the relation between fathers' child-rearing involvement and the social competence of children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD). Subjects of the study included 85 mothers of children who were diagnosed with ADHD at University hospitals and by pediatric psychiatrists. Mothers completed the Paternal Involvement in Child Care Index and Child Social Competence Questionnaire. The results of this study were as follows. First, there are differences in the fathers involvement in child-rearing according to their level of education and the number of children they have. Fathers who received a lower education and had more children were more involved in child-rearing. But there were not significant differences in the father's child-rearing involvement in relation to working and non-working mothers and SES. There were positive correlations between the father's child Care Resposibility and children's social competence.
