본 연구는 통합적 음률활동이 영아의 기본 운동능력 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만2세 학급의 영아40명을 두 집단으로 나누어 8 주간 20회에 걸쳐 실험집단에는 통합적 음률활동을 실시하였고, 비교집단에는 단위활동의 음률활동을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 통합적 음률활동은 단위활동의 음률활동에 비해 영아의 기본운동 능력 발달을 유의미하게 증진시키는 것으로 나타났다. 기본운동능력 발달 중 비이동 운동, 이동 운동은 의미 있게 향상되었으나, 조작적 운동은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서 통합적 음률활동은 2세 영아의 기본운동능력을 증진시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다.
The purpose of this study was to examine how infant exposure to integrated music and movement activity affected their development motor ability. The subjects used in this study were 40 young children of two-years-old class. The subjects composed experimental group with 20 members and comparative group with 20 members. This experiments were carried out 20 times during 8 weeks as a whole with twenty to thirty minute unit activity double times respectively. the experimental group had the integrated music and movement activity while the comparison group had general music and movement activity. In conclusion this study proved that integrated music and movement activity influenced positively the development of locomotor movement ability, axial movement ability in infants. However, there was no statistical manipulative movement ability. Therefore, applying integrated music and movement activity in nurseries for infants will be useful for improving infants' motor ability.
