The purpose of this study is to find out what relations Rorschach responses have according to the social status through the sociometric test.
The Rorschach test was performed to 75 children in the sixth-grade classes of K primary school in Seoul for 7 weeks. The results are as follows:
1. The relationship between social status and Rorschach responses: The higher are the children’s popularity, they tend to show the higher form-responses, total number of responses and human-responses. Whereas the lower are their popularity, the more frequently they tend to show rejection-responses, color-responses and animal-responses.
2. Significant difference are found between the least popular children’s responses and the most-popular children's responses. The least popular children’s total number of responses are lower than the most popular children’s total number of responses.
3. It is similar to differences of Rorschach res-onses between isolated children and rejected: children.
4. Significan t correlation between. results of socio-metric’ test and Rorschach responses was observed. And the Rorschach test is thought to be very useful to estimate inadequacy-immaturity level of emotionally and socially disturbed children.
