The purpose of this study was to analyze the demands and worries of rearing of working mothers
with young children twin. The question of this study were as follows; first, what are worries of
working mothers who rear young children twin? second, what are demands of working mothers who
rear young children twin?
The qualitative research was used in this study. To attain this goal, this study analyzed postings
on bulletin board of online community related to twin mam. Collected material was interpreted and
some types were extracted by their conceptual characteristics. The findings of this study were as
follows: First, working mothers with young children twin had worries of rearing such as
reinstatement, baby break, retirement from office, child-care helper’s service. Second, working mothers
with young children twin had demands of rearing such as the extension of maternity leave, to
guarantee their career during paternity leave, the extension of paternity leave. Based on these results,
this study drew some implications in making policy and system which can support working mothers
with young children twin. The findings of the study are expected to provide a frame of reference for
supporting working mothers with young children twin. This study suggested that policy and system
for reducing trials and errors in rearing twin must be set up.
