이 연구는 중국과 일본 한민족 학교에서 이루어지는 민족 음악교육의 양상을 이해하는 것을 목적으로, 2019년 현재 이들 학교에서 사용되고 있는 소학교 음악교과서 18권에 실린 가창곡을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 첫째, 연구대상 교과서는 북한 표준어(문화어)로 쓰여 있다. 둘째, 한민족 음악과 전통음악의 비중은 일본 측(97.8%, 10.1%)이 중국 측(66.6%, 7.9%)에 비해 훨씬 높게 나타난다. 셋째, 중국과 일본의 한민족 학교에서 사용하고 있는 한민족 음악들은 한국보다는 북한에 뿌리를 둔 음악이 많다. 넷째, 양국에서 활용되고...
