Yong Joon Park 환태평양유아교육연구학회 Asia-Pacific journal of research in early childhood education 22 Pages
환태평양유아교육연구학회 Asia-Pacific journal of research in early childhood education 2018, Vol.12 No.3 6 121-142 (22 pages)

The Waldorf school movement is not religious, anti-intellectual, or limited to creativity, but focuses on individual students’ spiritual well-being and artistic practices with activities and curriculum inspired by Steiner’s Anthroposophy. The Waldorf school pedagogy and teacher training programs were also educational, collaborative, and artistic practices inspired by Anthroposophy (e.g. using the... -

religious beliefs or value systems, and diversities in early childhood teacher education and school administration. Despite the different areas of diversities, they are united with one goal, that is, providing quality education for the benefit of children that meet their developmental needs. The Chinese concept of “He” or Harmony is instrumental in understanding “unity in diversity”. Harmony presupposes the existence of differences. Early childhood education in the Asian Pacific regions can... -
