무치악부위에서 dental implant를 이용한 수복은 환 자에게 기능적, 심미적인 측면에서 만족할 만한 결과 를 주며 표면처리된 implant가 소개된 이후 임상적인 성공률은 90~95%까지 보이고 있다. 그럼에도 불구 하고 계속적인 합병증이 보고되는데 실패 원인 중 fixture fracture는 자주 발생하지는 않지만, 환자와 치과의사 모두에게 치명적이다. -
