통제소재, 미래시간조망, 그릿(grit)과 지연의 관계 분석
한국교육학회 교육학연구 2016, 54권 4호 2 21-43 (23 pages)
Flexural, electrical, thermal and electromagnetic interference shielding properties of xGnP and carbon nanotube filled epoxy hybrid nanocomposites
Young Sil Lee, Yeon Ho Park, Kwan Han Yoon 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 6 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.24 6 41-46 (6 pages)
The microstructure, flexural properties, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness (SE) of epoxy composites filled with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs), exfoliated graphite nanoplatelets (xGnPs) and CNT-xGnP hybrid filler were investigated. The EMI SE of the CNT-xGnP hybrid composite was higher than 25 dB at 100 MHz while that of the xGnP based composite was almost zero. The flexural modulus of the CNT-xGnP based epoxy... -
Catalytic hydrogenation-assisted preparation of melt spinnable pitches from petroleum residue for making mesophase pitch based carbon fibers
Dong Hun Lee, Jisu Choi, Young Se Oh, Yoong Ahm Kim, Kap Seung Yang, Ho Jin Ryu, Yong Jung Kim 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 8 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.24 4 28-35 (8 pages)
We found that zeolite-induced catalytic hydrogenation under high hydrogen pressure contributed to a large variation in the properties of the pitches. As the hydrogen pressure increased, the C/H ratio decreased, and the solubility in n-hexane increased. The mesophase pitch with entirely anisotropic domains of flow texture exhibited good melt-spinnability. The mesophase carbon fibers obtained from the catalytically hydrogenated petroleum residue showed moderate mechanical properties. Key words:... -
Effect of the surface modification using MWCNTs with different L/D by two different methods of deposition on the IFSS of single carbon fiber-epoxy resin composite
Minerva L. Herrera-Sosa, Alex Valadez-Gonz?lez, Humberto V?zquez-Torres, Pierre G. Mani-Gonz?lez, Pedro J. Herrera-Franco 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 10 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.24 3 18-27 (10 pages)
Multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) with two different (L/D) aspect ratios (7±2 μm/140±30 nm and 0.5?2 μm/8?15 nm) were surface treated using nitric acid (HNO3) and polyethyleneimine (PEI) prior to their deposition on carbon fibers (CF). Before the hierarchical reinforcement with CF-MWCNT, the CFs were treated with 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, a coupling agent (Z6040) and with poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) a dendrimer containing an ethylenediamine core and amine surface groups. The MWCNT... -
Applications of carbon-based materials in solid phase micro-extraction: a review
Jian Guo, Soo-Jin Park, Long-Yue Meng, Xinghua Jin 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 8 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.24 2 10-17 (8 pages)
With continuous development in the field of sample preparation technology, solid phase micro-extraction (SPME) has been widely used in analytical chemistry for high extraction efficiency and convenient operation. Different materials lead to different extraction results. Among existing materials, carbon-based materials are still attracting attention from scientists due to their excellent physical and chemical properties as well as their modifiable surfaces, which could enhance the adsorption... -
Facile fabrication of electrospun polyacrylonitrile/ poly(vinylidene fluoride)-based carbon nanofibers for supercapacitor electrodes
Hyo In Lee, Soo-Jin Park 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 5 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.23 12 79-83 (5 pages)
energy sources are some of the most interesting alternatives being developed to solve the energy crisis [1,2]. At the same time, energy harvesting and storage devices are among the technologies with the highest potential to efficiently satisfy the energy requirements of compact electronic devices [3]. Among various energy storage devices, supercapacitors are the among the most intensely researched because of their high power density, long cycle retention, and rapid charge/discharge rates [4,5]. -
Mechanical and electrical properties of cement paste incorporated with pitch-based carbon fiber
Inkyu Rhee, Jin Hee Kim, Sang Hee Park, Sungho Lee, Bong Ryeul Ryu, Yoong Ahm Kim 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 8 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.23 4 22-29 (8 pages)
and more eco-friendly method because this pitch-based CF is basically recycled from petroleum residue. In the construction field, PAN-based CFs in the form of fabric are used for rehabilitation purposes to reinforce concrete slabs and piers because of their high mechanical properties. However, studies have revealed that construction materials with pitch-based CF are not popular. This study explores the compressive strength and electrical resistances of a cement paste prism using pitch-based CF. -
Hole quality assessment of drilled CFRP and CFRP-Ti stacks holes using polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tools
Dave Kim, Aaron Beal, Kiweon Kang, Sang-Young Kim 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 8 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.23 1 1-8 (8 pages)
drilled for the next 20 holes with the same drill bit. CFRP holes and CFRP-Ti stack holes were evaluated in terms of machined hole quality. The main tool wear mechanism of PCD drills is micro-fractures that occur when machining the Ti plate of the stack. Tool wear increases the instability and the operation temperature when machining the Ti plate. This results in high drilling forces, large hole diameter errors, high surface roughness, wider CFRP exit thermal damage, and taller exit Ti burrs. -
Effects of coal tar pitch addition on the wear behavior of carbon/carbon composites
Young Chan Jung, Duk Soo Kang, Kyong Yop Rhee, Soo Jin Park, David Hui 한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 4 Pages
한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2016, Vol.20 9 62-65 (4 pages)
at high temperature make C/C composites the best material to make brakes for aircrafts and other high weight vehicles. Accordingly, a number of studies have been conducted on the performance of C/C composites brake [6-9]. Generally, C/C composites are produced by the carbonization of the matrix precursors of carbon composites. However, some defects, such as porosity and micro-cracks, are also induced during carbonization, and these defects degrde the mechanical properties. Therefore, various...
