We investigated the action of NOS inhibitors on NOS in rats. Both of nitric oxide synthase inhibitors, NG-monomethyl-L-arginine (L-NMMA, 3μM) or NG-nitro-L-arginine methylester (L-NAME, 30μM), augmented phenylephrine (PE, 107 M)-induced contraction which was inhibited by acetylcholine (ACh) in rat thoracic aorta. The present study describes the bacterial blight of wal- nut, caused by Xanthomonas arboricola pv. juglandis (Xaj) in the northern Gyeongbuk province, Korea. In conclusion, the numerical weather prediction data from KMA could be reliable to apply as input data for plant disease forecast models. Weather prediction data would facilitate applications of weather-driven disease models for better disease management.
