전체적으로 과 및 속 수준의 다양성은 높지 않았으며, 특정 계통에 집중되어 신종후보 균주가 발굴되었다. Bacteroidetes 문에는 Mucilaginibacter, Sphingobacterium, Pedobacter, Flavobacterium, Chryseobacterium 속에 속하는 13개의 후보신종이 확인되었다.
