본 연구는 6·25전사자 유해발굴의 역사와 과정 분석을 통해 호국용사의 명예선양을 위한 과제를 도출하여 정책적 대안을 모색하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 그 동안 유해발굴 과정의 한국 국방부자료와 미국 정부의 자료를 활용하였다. 분석을 통해 ① 한국 정부는 그동안 많은 노력에도 불구하고 2014년까지 9,678구 유해발굴을 하였다. 그러나 전사자의 유해안장은 3만여 위에 불과하므로 앞으로 13만여 구에 대한 유해 발굴사업이 지속 추진되어야 하겠다. ② 유해발굴 사업을 국가적 안보교육장으로 활 용하고, 북한 및... -
