The First Case of Successful Bark Implantation of a 250-year-old Zelkova Tree Heavily Damaged by Artificial Girdling

To our knowledge, this is the first case of successful bark implantation to cure a 250-year-old zelkova tree heavily damaged by artificial girdling. This bark implantation technique will be utilized for the conservation and... and rubber bars were used to hold the implants to the trunk. Two pieces of the implanted fresh barks were successfully grafted onto the girdled area and the damaged tree has been vigorously growing over 13 years. To our knowledge, this is the first case of successful bark implantation to cure a 250-year-old zelkova tree heavily damaged by artificial girdling. This bark implantation technique will be utilized for the conversation and management of heavily damaged big and old trees in the future. -

Moreover, the component arrangement in the order of sedimentation tank, infiltration tank and plant bed exhibited a high pollutant reduction efficiency compared when the infiltration tank and plant bed were interchanged. The findings of this research will help in the further development and optimization of rain garden systems. -

Although the physiological and developmental roles of PGs are obscure in fungi, their expression is abundant because the cDNA sequences are available in most of the PGs.
