Herein, we report the pathogenic and phylogenetic characteristics of seven Shiga toxin (Stx)-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) isolates from 434 retail meats collected in Korea during 2006 to 2012. H2O2 associated lignin production significantly reduced the number of appressoria and penetration pegs. Field surveys for Plum pox virus (PPV) infection were conducted in stone fruit orchards all over Bulgaria. Four viruses were detected: Fig mosaic virus (FMV), Fig badnavirus-1 (FBV-1), Fig leaf mottle-associated virus 2 (FLMaV-2), and Fig fleck-associated virus (FFkaV).
