access. Learning areas are divided into six categories: programming, computer science theory, physical computing, computational thinking, software education, and convergent computing. A total of 45 learning courses were developed. The learning time in content was shortened to 10-20 minutes so that learners could learn easily. As a result of the operation of the system, users have been steadily increasing since 2016. The average monthly number of users in 2016 was 3,056, and 3,463 in 2017, 4,365... -

The process of the CDSCT development was completed in four phases. Phases one and two involved formulating the CDSCT design, writing an initial pool of 80 items from questions that the elementary school teachers reported using in career counseling, and reviewing the items for revision and deletion. These steps provided evidence of content-related validity by experts. For the third phase, apilot test was conducted with 10 5th grade students in elementary school to establish face validity. Finall... -

a Korean Music Performance Anxiety Scale (K-MPAS) to measure music performance anxiety of college music major students in Korea. Items were developed based on previous scales: the Music Performance Anxiety Inventory for Adolescents (MPAI-A) by Osborne & Kenny (2005) and the Personal Report of Confidence as a Speaker (PRCS) by Paul (1966). The preliminary K-MPAS comprising 26 items was conducted to 230 college music major students to verify the reliability and validity. As a result of the item... -

to distinguish between quality and quantity. However, the reason that mental workload is difficult to quantify through physiological measures, makes it more complicated to demonstrate the mental workload. When it comes to children’s development, physical change is visible and easy to identify but mental change is not. HRV is relatively easy to measure but has limitation because it is indirect way of measuring brain signal. Above all things, many researches of real-time indicator measuring... -
RhGLP-1 (7-36) protects diabetic rats against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury via up-regulating expression of Nrf2/HO-1 and increasing the activities of SOD

The present study aimed to explore the neuroprotective effect and possible mechanisms of rhGLP-1 (7-36) against transient ischemia/reperfusion injuries induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) in type 2 diabetic rats. First, diabetic rats were established by a combination of a high-fat diet and low-dose streptozotocin (STZ) (30 mg/kg, intraperitoneally). Second, they were subjected to MCAO for 2 h, then treated with rhGLP-1 (7-36) (10, 20, 40 μg/kg i.p.) at the same time of... -

On the other hand, father’s ‘intimacy’ and ‘control’ have significant direct effects to children’s aggression, which is a dependent variable in the model, in contrast, mothers’ ‘intimacy’, ‘control’, and ‘overprotection’ had significant direct effects to children’s aggression. In addition, there is a negative relationship children’s empathy and aggression significantly. Implications of findings were presented for educational policy makers and researchers on parenting. -

conducted to answer RQ2 and RQ3. The results of the study reveal a slight difference between maternal-paternal parenting styles, in which mothers portray more authoritative styles than fathers. Interestingly, only maternal education level predicts children’s reading skills and parenting styles of both do not predict children’s reading skills. Finally, it can be concluded that an Asian-parenting culture could potentially influence child-rearing styles among the urban parents in this setting. -

attention and general visual perception were shown to predict the speed of color naming up to 12.2% (Adjust R2 = .12, p < .05) and the speed of digit naming up to 14.1% (Adjust R2 = .14, p < .05). In conclusion, the visual perception and sustained attention abilities of Thai preschool children can predict their rapid naming ability. During early childhood, the importance of developing attentiveness and visual perception is indicated since it offers a positive reading acquisition ability. -

There was a significantly positive correlation between aesthetic teaching beliefs and practices. (4) The interviewed early childhood educators agreed with the importance of aesthetic education. They argued to develop children’s aesthetic feelings through exploring nature and arts, and to guide children in appreciating various arts and local arts. However, their difficulties were a lack of enough knowledge in arts appreciation, and insufficient arts resources in the mountains and rural areas. -

Further findings reveal that the absence of everyday routines adds to the range of heightened emotions felt by the individual child and collectively in the family and attending school is one of the first stable routines that the child undertakes. It is argued that a cultural-historical reading of this situation offers a different perspective and beginning theorization on the emotional development of children transitioning internationally. -

Conclusions: PC-BMW provides clear and excellent images, is pocket-sized and less expensive than a conventional ultrasound imaging system. PC-BMW can be utilized variously and has the advantage of rehabilitative ultrasound imaging. More research is needed to evaluate the utility of PC-BMW for rehabilitation. -

Transfer (FRET) genosensor, most widely used in the biomolecule detection fields, and QD-based nanosensor for Rev-RRE interaction assay are presented as examples. In recent years, QD-based biosensors have emerged as a new class of sensor and are expected to open opportunities in plant virus detection, but as yet there have been very few practical applications (Table 3). In this article, the details of those cases and their significance for the future of plant virus detection will be discussed. -
