The role of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT)1A receptor activity in prenatal ischemia was studied, by injecting 8-hydroxy-dipropylaminotetraline (8-OH-DPAT; 50μg/kg, s.c.), a 5-HT1A agonist on gestation day 17, and 30 min later inducing transient ischemia by ligating the uterine vessels for 30 min. effectively attenuated both norepinephrine and epinephrine secretion induced by arachidonic acid. However, K252a did not affect the catecholamine secretion induced by angiotensin II, PGE2, veratridine or KCl. Our results suggest that staurosporine may inhibit long-term catecholamine secretion induced by various secretagogues in a mechanism other than inhibiting PKC signaling. Furthermore, long-term secretion of catecholamines induced by arachidonic acid may be dependent on PKC pathway. -

미국 일리노이에 자생하는 야생 까마중종인 Solanum ptycanthum과 Solanum nigrum의 어린자옆으로부터 유기된 callus를 2년이상 장기간 계대배양 후 식물체 분화율을 제고하기 위하여 IAA, BA, thidiazuron의 효과를 조사하였다. callus 생장과 식물체분화는 IAA와 BA를 혼합처리시보다 thidiazuron을 단독처리 하였을 때가 4-5배 효과적이었다. Thidiazuron과 IAA와 BA간에는 식물체분화에 상호작용이 있었으며 thidiazuron을 단독처리시보다 IAA를 첨가시 식물체 분화를 감소하였다. -

최근, 저온 장시간 발효된 묵은지에 대한 소비가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 저온($5^{circ}C$)에서 46주 동안 발효된 묵은지의 pH, 산도, 유기산, 생균수, 아미노산, polygalacturonase (PG) 활성 등을 분석하였다. 10주 발효한 김치에서는 pH 4.1, 산도 0.99%를 나타낸 반면, 46주 발효한 김치에서는 pH 3.9, 산도 1.29%를 보였다. 한편, 10주에서 46주로 발효 기간이 증가하면서, 젖산, 젖산/초산비, Lactobacillus species/Leuconostoc species비 등은 증가한 반면, 호기성 세균, 효모, Lactobacillus species, Leuconostoc... -

In BHK-NCX1 cells transiently expressing TRPV1 channels, Ca2+ influx elicited by capsaicin produced a marked inactivation of NCX1. We suggest that cytoplasmic Ca2+ has a dual effect on NCX1 activities, and that allosteric Ca2+ activation of NCX1 can be opposed by the Ca2+-dependent long-term inactivation in intact cells. -
