한국탄소학회 Carbon Letters 2017, Vol.21 11 86-92 (7 pages)
Exceptional properties and a one dimensional structure make carbon nanotubes (CNTs) a promising candidate for future applications in the electronic industry [1-3]. Because of their smaller dimensions and higher conductivity as compared to copper, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) may increase the bandwidth density of global interconnects [4]. They demonstrate charge carrier mean free paths between 500 nm and 10 μm as compared to 40 nm in metals. CNTs can carry exceptionally high current... -

Carbon fibers (CFs) have a unique combination of properties which allow them to be widely used as reinforcing materials in advanced polymer composites. The mechanical properties of CF-reinforced polymer composites are governed mainly by the quality of interfacial adhesion between the CFs and the polymer matrix. Surface treatments of CFs are generally carried out to introduce chemical functional groups on the fiber surfaces, which provide the ability to control the surface characteristics of CFs.... -

the BRCT domain of 53BP1 in DNA repair. From our data, we were able to detect differences in the phosphorylation patterns in Ser25 and Ser1778 of 53BP1 after neocarzinostatin-induced DNA damage. Furthermore, the foci formation patterns in both phosphorylation sites of 53BP1 also evidenced sizeable differences following DNA damage. From our results, we concluded that each phosphoryaltion site of 53BP1 performs different roles, and Ser1778 is more important than Ser25 in the process of DNA repair. -

signal peptide trap as- say. Transient expression in Nicotiana benthamiana together with protein immunoblotting confirmed that LtLysM1 was an N-glycosylated protein. In contrast to previously reported LysM protein Slp1 and OsCEBiP, LtLysM1 molecule did not interact with itself based on yeast two hybrid and co-immunoprecipitation assays. These results indicate that LtLysM1 is a secreted protein and functions as a critical virulence factor during the disease symptom development in woody plants. -

Kokula Krishna Hari K, Long CAI 인문사회과학기술융합학회 예술인문사회융합멀티미디어논문지 16 Pages
인문사회과학기술융합학회 예술인문사회융합멀티미디어논문지 2012, 제 2권 제 2호 1 45-60 (16 pages)
The traditional TCP assumes that all packet losses result from the congestion even in networks with high bit error rates (BER), and this causes a significant performance degradation. In this paper, we propose a novel end-to-end congestion control mechanism called TCP VenoDB, which joins the relative delay and bandwidth estimation together as a judgment condition to distinguish the network states, and refines the traditional fast retransmit and fast recovery phase with partial ACK mechanism.... -
