ALV-J variants in tissues from four different organs of the same bird were re-isolated in DF-1 cells, and their gp85 gene was amplified and cloned. Corynebacterium (C.) bovis infection in nude mice causes hyperkeratosis and weight loss and has been reported worldwide but not in Korea. In 2011, nude mice from an animal facility in Korea were found to have white flakes on their dorsal skin. Although cardiac troponin T (cTnT) was significantly increased in the EG but not in the NEG 2hours after the race (p＜.05), there was no group-by-time interaction. cTnT was completely recovered in both groups 7 days after the race. In a family study, the low FMO activity observed in a person heterozygous for a nonsense mutation in exon 4 (G148X) and heterozygous for missense mutation in exon 6 (V257M) of FMO3 was attributed to the mutations.
