관악기 연주 후 악기에 잔존하는 구강 상피 잔사, 음식물 입자와 타액은 미생물 서식에 좋은 환경을 제공한다. 이에 관악기의 위생 관리에 소홀할 경우 악기를 매개로 한 병원성 미생물의 전염에 대한 우려가 있다. 하지만 국내에 악기에 존재하는 감염균과 악기 위생 관리에 대한 연구, 조사는 극히 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 국제 연구 문헌 검색을 통해 실험과 임상 진단이 이루어진 연구를 선별하였으며 이들 분석을 통해 관악기에서 확인되는 미생물을 열람하고 이와 관련하여 발생할 수 있는 질환에 대해서 고찰하였다. 취주...

We recently reported a Philyra pisum lectin (PPL) that exerts mitogenic effects on human lym-phocytes, and its molecular characterization. The present study provides a more detailed charac-terization of PPL based on the results from a monosaccharide analysis indicating that PPL is a glycoprotein, and circular dichroism spectra revealing its estimated α-helix, β-sheet, β-turn, and random coil contents to be 14.0%, 39.6%, 15.8%, and 30.6%, respectively. The spent mushroom substrate (SMS) of Lentinula edodes that was derived from sawdust bag cultivation was used as materials for controlling Phytophthora blight disease of pepper. Water extract from SMS (WESMS) of L. edodes inhibited mycelial growth of Phytophthora capsici, suppressed Phytophthora blight disease of pepper seedlings by 65% and promoted growth of the plant over 30%.
