대구지역 서양음악은1) 1827년 천주교인 이공사가(1837-1868) 집안이 대구로 이주하면서 비롯되었다. 이후 1897년에 야소교회당(종로 제일교 회)이 설립되면서 찬송가 보급을 통한 서양음악의 씨앗이 뿌려졌다. 이 러한 과정에서 사이드보텀(R.H.
