In 2140 cases of roentgenological examination of upper G-I tract during the period from Jan. of 1959 to October of 1963 in this department, a study on duodenal diverticula has led to the following conclusions : 1. The indidence of duodenal diverticula in this study is 3.27%, 57.5% in maleand 43.0% in female. 2. Highest incidence was shown in the age group of 41-50 and 51-60. 3. Predilected site of duodenal diverticula is concave side of second portion of duodenum. 4. 66 cases were in single, 3 cases in twin and 1 case in triple occurrence. 5. Diverticula were distributed in size from-5mm to 70mm. 6. Inflammation in complicated in 9 cases of diverticula, 12.0%, and 1 case of these forms fistula tract. 7. 12 cases of peptic ulcer, 6 cases of gastric cancer, 4 cases of gastroptosis and 1 case of gall stone were associated with duodenal diverticula.
