A new furocoumarin $C_{16}$ H$_{14}$ $O_{5}$, slightly laevo-rotatory white needles m.p. 129-$130^{circ}$ has been isolated from the roots of the Angelica Koreana M$_{AXIMOWICZ}$ and its structure has been established as 8-(${eta}{gamma}$-oxido-iso-amyl)-psoralene, a stereoisomer of heraclenin.
