In order to detect poisonous or physiologically active constituents in the higher fungi growing in Korea, thirtyeight species and three varieties were collected in Kyung Ki Province and subjected to systematic extraction with two kinds of organic solvents. The extracts wre examined for alkaloid by adding alkaloid reagents. Of these, seven species and one variety gave positive confirmatory tests.
