From 1962 to 1970 about 200 abdominal aortographies were performed in department of radiology of National Medical Center, Seoul, Korea, with perfutaneous retrograde seldinger catheterization technique. The 200 cases of the abdominal aortography were analyzed as following. 1. The sex ratio of all patients was 105 males to 95 females. 2. Radiological findings were grouped as vascular lesions, 113 visceral or other expanding lesions and 29 angiographically nonspecific findings. Total is over 200 due to double lesions in 4 patient. 3. THe 62 vascular lesions were composed of 40 aortitis, 28 renal hypertension etc. 4. The highest incidence in 113 visceral or other expanding lesions, was renal lesions, and other lesions, such as 12 retroperitoneal masses, 9 liver and pancreatic masses were also noted. 5. No percmanent complications arose after abdominal aortography. 6. Abdominal aotography and selective visceral injections gave more diagnosis than any other radiological examinations in detecting some lesions which could not be approached with other radiological examinations.
