$gamma$-Amino propane sulfonic acid, $gamma$-guanidino propane sulfonic acid 및 $gamma$-guanidino-$eta$-hydroxy propane sulfonic acid 등의 $omega$-amino acid 및 $omega$-amino sulfonic acid의 분자구조를 X선 회절법에 의하여 결정하여 분자구조간 또는 관련물질과의 유사점 및 차이점을 비교 검토하였다.
Molecular structures of $omega$-amino acid and $omega$-aminosulfonic acid which has sulfonate group instead of carboxyl group, such as $gamma$-amino propane sulfonic acid, $gamma$-guanidino propane sulfonic acid and $gamma$-guanidino-$eta$-hydroxy propane sulfonic acid. were determined by X-ray diffraction method. and the similarities and differences between their molecular structures or between related compounds were discussed. For the development of pharmacological action, the separation of nitrogen atom from oxygen atom is probably thought to be one of the factors related.
