The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of cupra yarn 75d sized by various sizing recipes. The results obtained in this experiment are summarized as follows; 1. Sizing recipes suit to 3∼4% of adhesives, 0.2∼0.3% of oil, 0.2∼0.3% of antistatic agent and 3∼4% of add-on of sizing agents. 2. The results are 34∼60 dyne/cm of surface tension and 1.50∼4.00 of relative viscosity for the sized yarn, about 150g of tensile strength, 9.0∼10.0 of friction coefficient, 1∼3 volts of antistatics at 500 cycles, 5∼13 turns of abrasion resist, for the sized yarn, and 1∼10% of add-on of size. and 8∼10% of moisture regain.
