During the period between September, 1973 and April, 1974 the insufflation technique which is not universally used in hospital at present was employed in 10 cases of acute intestinal intussusception with 8 full reduction (80%). All cases were between 6 months and 26 months of age. All cases were between 10 hours and 47 hours of duration of sickness. Two cases failed with insufflation technique were immediately treated Surgically.
