A lignan glycoside, mp 263-$5^{circ}$, $C_{34}H_{46}O_{18}$, was isolated from the cortex of Acanthopanax sessiliflorum forma chungbunensis C.S.Yook and it was identified as lirioresinol ${eta}$-diglucoside, liriodendrin. The compound stimulated the incorporation of $^{14}$C-leucine into mouse liver protein.
