배추흰나비(Pieris rapae L.)의 전용 및 용시기에 따른 혈림프내 단백질을 비교하고 지방체내 단백질과의 상호관계를 규명하기 위하여 용화후 30분 된 혈림프를 토끼에 주사하여 항체를 얻은 다음 Immunodiffusion과 Immunoelectrophoresis 방법을 사용하였다. Immunodiffusion test에서는 총 8-9개의 precipitin line이 용초기에 걸쳐 혈림프에서 나타났는데 그 중 3개의 line은 전용기의 혈림프에서도 나타났다. 한편 용초기의 지방체에서는 4개의 line이 나타난 반면 전용기의 지방체에서는 2개의 line만이 나타났다. Immunoelectrophoresis test에서는 총 13개의 precipitin arc가 전용기와 용초기에 걸쳐 혈림프에서 나타난 반면 지방체에서는 전용기에 2개 용화직후에 5개의 arc가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 적어도 4개의 혈단백질이 용화 전과 후에 지방체에서 합성되어 혈림프로 방출되었다는 것을 암시한다.
In immunodiffusion test, a total of 8 to 9 precipitin lines are present in haemolymph throughout the early pupal stage while at the prepupal stage only three of them appear in haemolymph. On the while, in the fat body four lines occur at the early pupal stage while only two lines are present at prepupal stage. In immunoelectrophoresis test, a total of 13 precipitin arcs occur throughout prepupal and early pupal stages whereas fat body has two arcs at prepupal stage but five arcs immediately after pupation. These results suggest that at least four pupal haemolymph proteins are synthesized in the fat body before and after pupation and released into the haemolymph.
